IT COULD BE SIMPLE

‘It Could Be Simple’ is an original one act musical written in collaboration Arin Grattidge and Performed as part of RCS Bridge Week 2017. A man and a woman meet on a train and come to realise that they are the perfect person for one another, an experience most people have only once in their lifetimes. But they struggle to reconcile this almost divine meeting with their already existing lifes; do they run away leaving all they have built behind or choose to forget their meeting and return to their perfectly average little worlds. A small show with a cast of two, a band of three wind instruments and a confined train carriage as a setting, It Could Be Simple takes a deep dive into a major problem that we face in our life’s and asks ‘If you could risk comfort for happiness, would you take it or would you do nothing?’
